Saved Views & Duplicating Views
A saved view is a custom table layout (columns + filters) that you can open in one click. It's like a lightweight, always up-to-date report.
Creating a Saved View
- Go to Inventory tab
- Use Columns panel to hide unused columns
- Add filters on the left to narrow products
Example: "Grade A – running low – next 30 days"
Status: Running Low or Stock Gap
Grade: A
Stock-out date: within next 30 days
Optional: Filter by supplier or location
- Click Save view
- Name it clearly:
"Grade A – 30 days" - It appears in your view selector at the top
Now use it instead of rebuilding filters every morning.
Common Saved Views
Teams typically create:
"Replenishment"
├─ Running Low / Stock Gap
├─ Grade A
└─ Stock-out in next 30 days
"Overstock"
├─ Status: Overstocked
└─ Optional: Filter by supplier
"Brand Review" (e.g., Nike)
├─ Vendor or tag: Nike
└─ All statuses
"Role-based Views"
├─ Planner: demand, stock-out, sales columns
└─ Finance: cost, stock value, overstock columns
Duplicating Views
Duplicating lets you create a variation without losing the original setup.
Steps:
- Hover over a saved view in your view list
- Click ⋯ (more) menu
- Select Duplicate
- Adjust filters/columns in the copy
- Rename it
Use this when you:
Want different time windows:
├─ Original: "Next 30 days"
└─ Copy: "Next 7 days" (same logic, tighter window)
Need location-specific views:
├─ Original: "All locations"
└─ Copy: "Berlin warehouse only"
Want to test an analysis:
├─ Original: Team's shared view (don't break it)
└─ Copy: Your experimental version
Using Views for Reporting
If your plan allows exporting or generating reports:
- Configure your view as usual
- Click Export / Generate report
- Name it and share with your team
Saved views ensure every export uses the same filters and columns, so everyone works from the same numbers.
